Just What One Needs Going Into the Holidays....

A blasted cold bug.

Got the icky congestion, low-grade fever, achy joints, light sensitivity, the works. Came home early from work, loaded myself up with meds, got in bed, and stared at the ceiling.

Tried to hash out some details for the current story-in-the-works, but even that was futile. Some of the patterns in the ceiling are kind of interesting, though.

Yup, I'm there, too. :sigh:

I've been attacking symptoms right and left for about two weeks...and getting darned tired of it...but so far I've managed to medicate just in time each go-round, so I'm still (for all intents and purposes) up and around...hope you feel better.

Actually have been getting some things DONE...weird. (lol)

Well bugger! I hope we all feel better soon! {group hug like on the commercial so as not to spread germs!}

Don't think of it as a cold, think of it as a chance to bond with micro-organisms.

It's been a pretty ugly bonding, but I think the worst is past now. I'm starting to feel reasonably semi-human again; worked half a day, and have been hard at the writing this evening. Looking forward to making merry over the next few days. Hope y'all are too.
