After the event, Ms. B. and I cruised over to the bar at Green Valley Grill
to top off the evening with a couple of glasses of our favorite red vintages.
Unfortunately, for most of the day and part of Halloween evening, we had a
steady rain. Still, one intrepid group of young trick-or-treaters came to our
door, and we were ready for them. We picked a couple of fairly diverse films
to run for the evening —
The Witches of Eastwick and
Count Dracula (the 1970 Jess Franco
version starring Christopher Lee).
Overall, this has been one of the most enjoyable, event-packed Halloween
seasons Ms. B. and I have spent together (at least when we’ve not been on foreign soil). Travel plans for next year are in the early
stages, so whether we’ll be here or somewhere out yonder remains to be seen.
Wherever we are, we’ll be scary.
Hope you are too.
